The City Information Group is a community for people who work in and around the City of London, and utilise business and commercial information.

CiG offers members an opportunity to meet colleagues and peers within the information community, acting as a forum to learn, debate, discuss and share ideas regarding developments in business and commercial information.

CiG aims to offer a varied and interesting selection of regular educational events and seminars, covering all aspects of managing information.  We also host occasional social events to facilitate networking, maintain this knowledge sharing website and produce a quarterly newsletter and Yearbook.

Background & Structure

After being formed for some years, the City Information Group was incorporated in 2002. We are a not-for-profit membership organisation with charitable status.

CiG is run on a voluntary basis by a Management Committee drawn from the CiG membership. CiG’s Committee represents both users and vendors from the business and commercial information community.
